Every bride wants the red carpet treatment on her wedding day but Louise Scanella was stunned to find 100 yards of it - from her front door to the church.

Groom Calogero Scanella spent weeks planning the surprise, and arranged for friends to lay it moments before the ceremony so his bride-to-be wouldn't see it.
And Louise, 41, looked delighted as she walked along the carpet with her proud father John Buckenham from her home on Stanley Road in Wallington, to Stanley Park Evangelical Church last Friday.
