Michael Jackson's Mom to Produce Film About His Life

Michael Jackson's mom Katherine has a lot on her plate these days. She just authored a coffee table book called Never Can Say Goodbye about the late star's life, and now we hear she's producing a movie about MJ. Rumor has it the film will span from his childhood days right up to his death.
According to gossip website TMZ, Katherine is making hundreds of hours of home videos available to Howard Mann, who co-authored the book with her, including footage of when the Jackson family moved from Gary, Indiana, to Los Angeles after The Jackson 5 signed with Motown records. It is also believed Howard has paid an eight-figure sum to the "Black or White" singer’s former business partner Marc Schaffel for 26 hours of video footage of Michael. The plans are for Howard and Katherine – who is the legal guardian of Michael’s three children, Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II, also known as ‘Blanket’ – to release a series of films about Michael.Since his passing, the documentary This Is It showing Michael rehearsing for his never-to-take-place 50-date London concert residency has been released.
