Rihanna Admits Long-Distance Romance Is Tough

Los Angeles Dodger Matt Kemp leaves Sketch restaurant in London after sharing a romantic meal with his girlfriend Rihanna

Rihanna, wearing a 'She Died of Perfection' t-shirt, white puffy skirt and brown high heels with socks, leaves her hotel in London headed out for a day of shopping. Rihanna reportedly picked outfits for five lucky fans at Topshop's Oxford Circus store, after they had won a competition for a styling session with the R&B singer.

Rihanna is head over heels for her boyfriend, Los Angeles Dodgers baseball star Matt Kemp, but she admits their work commitments often get in the way of romance.

She said: “It’s really difficult because we are so far from each other most of the year and we both have very demanding schedules it gets difficult at times but it is what it is. I’m in love and I’m very happy but we have only been dating for a few months so no wedding for now, we are taking it easy.”

The 22-year-old pop star also revealed she finds her huge fame “surreal,” particularly when she is at the same events as her childhood idols.

She explained to British station BBC Radio 1Xtra: “It’s really surreal. I always think about it. I used to always look up to Mariah Carey and Beyonce Knowles and now when we go to the same award shows I’m in the same category.

"It’s really, really cool and is such a good feeling. It makes me feel like I have accomplished a lot and I’m moving ahead really quickly in life.”
