What you'd look like in... Kimberley Walsh's one-shoulder dress

Wearing a dress that would make Sex And The City's Carrie Bradshaw jealous, Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh arrived at last month's Pride of Britain Awards looking radiant in a one-shouldered dress adorned with a dazzling corsage.

It was created by British designer Alice Temperley and comes with a blooming price-tag to match the enormous flower - £1,350.

We road-tested the look on our own model and, oh dear - she looked like her neck had been swallowed by the corsage!

While the flower is fabulous, it overwhelms the outfit and detracts from her figure.
The dress itself is a fun party frock shape, that's simple and contemporary, so it's worth seeking out an affordable alternative.

We found this one-shoulder number, with a sequinned strap, at Oliver Bonas for £72 - which leaves plenty of spare cash for cocktails.

It's also made of a fantastically flattering stretchy fabric that shows off our girl's hourglass figure without showing too much flesh or looking cheap.
